H. Marc Helm serves as the President and CEO of CIS Financial Services.  Marc has over 46 years of experience in financial services and mortgage banking. Formerly a Principal Partner at Transformational Mortgage Solutions, he is also the Owner of ReverseAmerica Advisors, Inc. and Mortgage Consultants of America (MCA). Marc has established a record of leadership and achievements within and beyond the mortgage banking sector. Marc holds a BS Degree (Summa Cum Laude) and an MS Degree from Troy University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Psychology, and was a certified Marriage & Family Counselor, during his time on Active Duty with United States Army. He and his wife, Sallie Fortner Helm, have been married for nearly 50 years and reside in Texas, with time also spent at their homes in Alabama and Florida.

In his previous role as President and CEO of Reverse Mortgage Solutions, Inc. (RMS), Marc played a key role in establishing RMS as a major Ginnie Mae Securitizer, originator, and servicer/subservicer in the reverse mortgage industry. He has held influential positions such as Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Loan Administration Committee and MBA Technology Committee. Marc is a member of notable advisory boards, including LRES, the Fidelity (LPS) Information Systems Mortgage Servicing Advisory Board and the National Reverse Mortgage Lender Association’s (NRMLA) Board of Directors, and has served on advisory committees for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, FHA, and VA.

Marc’s dedication to community and philanthropy is evident in his role as a past board member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and his involvement with the Helm Foundation, which supports causes for children, veterans, military service members, scholarships for worthy students and assistance for homeless mothers and their children. Marc proudly served in the United States Army for 6 years, 9 months, and 23 days and is honored to count himself among other decorated Vietnam Veterans.
