CIS Home Loans is a full-service mortgage company that helps families achieve their goals of home ownership. We take great pride in our ability to provide industry-leading services to our customers without compromising our small-town values. That was our mission when we opened up our doors in 1991, and it remains the same today.
What is the meaning behind the letters C, I, and S in CIS Home Loans? Originally, CIS was named after its corporate owner Cavalier Acceptance Corporation (CAC), and took on the name Cavalier Information Systems. In 2001, CAC retired its name and its legal name became CIS Financial Services, Inc. The new executive team saw one last opportunity to improve the name for consumers. CIS Financial Services, Inc. began DBA (doing business as) CIS Home Loans. With this final change in the company name, the true meaning of C I S was revealed:

While our staff is here to help your homeownership dream come true, they are also very involved in their local communities. These relationships allow us to stay up to date on the latest trends and programs, while also giving us a leg up over our competitors when it comes to securing home loans with these companies. We’ve procured record-breaking agreements in the past and are focused on doing so now and in the future.
