What Does CIS Stand for?

Wondering what the letters C I S stand for in CIS Home Loans?

Originally, the company was named Cavalier Information Systems after its corporate owner, Cavalier Acceptance Corporation (CAC). In 2001, as CAC phased out its name, the company officially became CIS Financial Services, Inc. To make the name more consumer-friendly, the new executive team rebranded the business as CIS Home Loans by implementing DBA (doing business as). With this final change in the company name, the true meaning of C I S was revealed.
