If you are experiencing financial difficulty and are unable to make your mortgage payments, CIS Home Loans wants to help you explore options that may allow you to avoid foreclosure and stay in your home whenever possible.
Options to Avoid Foreclosure
Borrowers who are struggling to make payments may be eligible for one or more of the following options:
Repayment Plan – Spread out past-due amounts over a set period of time.
Loan Modification – Permanently change the terms of your loan to make payments more affordable.
Forbearance Plan – Temporarily reduce or suspend payments for a short period.
Short Sale – Sell your home for less than the amount owed on your mortgage, with lender approval.
Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure – Voluntarily transfer ownership of your home to satisfy the mortgage debt.
