CIS Home Loans is a full-service mortgage company that helps families achieve their goals of home ownership. We take great pride in our ability to provide industry-leading services to our customers without compromising our small-town ideals. That was our mission when we opened up our doors in 1991, and it remains the same today.
What is the meaning behind the letters C, I, and S in CIS Home Loans? Originally, CIS was named after their corporate owner Cavalier Acceptance Corporation (CAC) and took on the name Cavalier Information Systems. In 2001, CAC retired its name and its legal name became CIS Financial Services, Inc. The new executive team saw one last opportunity to improve the name for consumers. CIS Financial Services, Inc. began DBA (doing business as) CIS Home Loans. With this final change in company name, the true meaning of C I S was revealed:
