Prior to working at CIS Home Loans, Rylee Akers worked in the Propane Industry for 8 years. In May 2021, Rylee joined the CIS Family as the Corporate Recruiter. In September 2021, she took on a new role as the Talent Acquisition & Public Relations Specialist. In July 2022, she was promoted to Human Resources Assistant Manager where she began her management training with CIS. Most recently, Rylee was promoted to Human Resources Manager.
Rylee obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management in April of 2022 from Athens State University. She also has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Bevill State Community College. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. Rylee received a Professional Grant from the SHRM Foundation to obtain her SHRM-CP Certification in 2023.

Rylee’s professional goal is to empower others to obtain and achieve their personal and professional goals through her education and experience. She is passionate about the training and development of individuals which led her to pursue a career in Human Resources.
