Currently, I serve as both an account executive for the CIS manufactured housing lending division as well as a licensed mortgage loan originator(MLO). I have been a part of the mortgage lending business for seven years. My previous work experience included managerial roles in the fields of education and medical imaging. I am a licensed MLO in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, California, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

My past experiences afforded me the opportunity to be included on an international research grant with England on comparing the educational outcomes of Radiographers in America and Europe. My international travels included many countries with the highlight of a two- year period in Taiwan where I learned to speak Mandarin Chinese.

My work career began in the Radiography profession. My first Administrative Directors’ job was at the good age of 22. For six years I served administrative director roles in various hospitals across the state of Alabama.

After obtaining my Master’s Degree in Education, Allied Health concentration, I began my career as a Radiography Program Director and educator. I was promoted to Dean of the Medical Technology programs which included STEM Health Science career promotion among high school students. I spent over 20 years as an administrator at various institutions of higher learning within Alabama and Tennessee. My past experience also includes volunteer work as a public speaker for the National Cancer and Heart Associations as well as board membership to local, state, and national health care societies.

I am proud to say that I was born and raised in Carbon Hill, Alabama. I was awarded academic and basketball scholarships. I am a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Master’s in Education, Allied Health Program and their School of Radiologic Technology Bachelor of Science Program. I am also a graduate of Wake Forest University’s Bowman Gray School of Medicine’s Sonography program as well as Wallace State Community College’s Paramedic program.

My past track record includes obtaining certificate of needs for starting both a sonography and nuclear medicine imaging department from ground up. Highlights also includes significant increases in board certification pass rates, as well as in retention, graduation, and job placement rates. I have had consistent success in obtaining compliance certifications with The Joint Commission (TJC), the Joint Commission on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), the Joint Commission for Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT), the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) as well as with the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and SACS- SOC full accreditation for institutions of higher learning.

I am proud to say I am now a member of the Lending field as an Account Executive and licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. I love teaching people about loan programs and helping them obtain their dream home. Helping others and making the world a better place is my driving force.
